V.5

That was a hell of a job! But well rewarded!  A hunter gave us a female wild boar, we kept the meat to eat and I got almost the full eskeleton of the animal. This is a big piece for bonebuilding!!!

After getting the meat I took all the fat and remains of meat from the skin side with the "sharpest knife ever" and covered it with a thick coat of salt. To get the head skin the proces was similar being extremly careful with eyes and ears. The nose is still with all the cartilage in the top. I kept it in the frezzer without salt as i don't know the proces to work with it yet.

The bones have been boiled, bleached and cleaned with hot water and soap. I don't know if bleach is the best process to get rid of the meat, any sugestions? Sure theres lots of diferent ways.

Birthday Presents

To finish some shots of two awesome birthday presents! My friends gave me a stuffed shark head (Marrajo shark in spanish) (Isurus oxyrinchus) is from the family of the white sharks! (lamnidae) wop wop!!! This sharks can grow quite a bit, till 3,5/4 metters so I asume this was still very young.

The pal with the exoskeleton is an (Limulus polyphemus) here we call it (cangrejo herradura - horseshoe crab) but is not a crab, it seems to be closer to the arachnids family than the crabs. Is a living dinosaur as it almost didn't evolved in 445 milions of years.

Great presents, lets see what to do with them. Thank you very much to my friends, nobody could do it better!

Peace and see you all soon ;)
